Concept & Design by Emily Daniels & Michelle Labonté | Programming by Rufino Ricardo Ansara & Christoph Schoch 2011This was a collaborative 2D side-scrolling game made using Adobe Flash. In it all you know of your world is a giant stem. Hatching, you grapple up to make your way to find food for your brood while avoiding airborne enemies. My work on this project was in designing the gameplay, user interface and graphic assets. It was awarded Best Graphics and Best Game Overall at Carleton School of Information Technology’s Global Game Jam 2011. You can play it here: Thrive |
